Background
The HV battery trainer has been developed by a handful of Hungarian automotive and software development engineers. Every main R&D phases was validated by experienced high voltage professionals (mechanics, electrical engineers).
It took almost 3 years from the first prototype to the just-before-manufacturing alpha type.
The development team reached our main goal to create a realistic yet all around safe to use instrument which is ready to series production at the same time.

Safe
The HV battery simulator provides a modern and safe way to teach about HV batteries for every training centres and institutes. It is safe because:
- Current is limited to 10 mA when accidentally touch
- No electro-chemical energy storage
- The system alarms if dangerous operation is detected
- Safe to teach all generations, youths and adults
- works from normal wall-plug
Accidents (electric shock, explosion) related to real HV batteries would never happen using our simulator during trainings.

Diagnostics
It is an extremely hard and dangerous task to set up faults in real HV batteries coming from a real car. Our HV battery simulator can easily simulate the most freqent faults.
- 19 different faults can be simulated from cell faults to insulation problems
- 99 million different measurement permutations can be executed
- 10 000 different exam task can be set up
- DTCs and live data realted to specific fault and brand

e-Learning
E-Learning material has been developed simultaneously with the simulator in order to provide the same high-level yet bespoke experience to every student.
The curriculum incorporates part identification, work-safety, repair procedures, measurement practices and diagnostics related to HV batteries.
Since everyone has their own login account, the learning becomes a personal experience in one's own pace.
From September 2023 the full 20-hours e-Learning curriculum will be available in English and Hungarian. It can be translated into any language later.
The simulator can be used in real life environment using real life PPE equipment. Thanks to the provided secondary display connector, it can be used for group trainings as well.

Augmented reality (AR)
Besides the e-Learing curriculum, the simulator has some extra features using augmented reality (AR). Using our personal login account, simply pointing our mobile device or tablet towards specific positions, we can access functions like:
- thermal camera
- identification plates, labels
- auxilliary systems (eg. cooling system)

Support
We can provide the following supports to the simulator:
- CE certificate
- Updates and add-ons in curriculum and AR functionality
- Updates on simulator software and firmware
- Bespoke trainings for trainers and teachers in English and Hungarian

HV battery simulator
We have our own cutting-edge automotive training centre specialising on diagnostics, oscilloscope use and electric powertrain. Moving towards HV battery training was a self-understanding decision.
Therefore, we faced all the hazards (electric shock, explosion) related to HV batteries.
Thus, we started to search for a available solution on the market which is realistic, safe and has settable faults. And last but not at least, has a competitive price.
We were not lucky, so we started to develop our own based on the forementioned principles.
